Two years I bought an apartment that was for sale for quite a while since there was so much work to do; The apartment was located in Ghent, Belgium, and as I thought it was such a good deal, i bought it unseen, I was on board at the time and looking at the photos of the place, I saw a lot of potential. So when I returned back home, I started working on the place immediately. I worked straight from 06:00 am -10:00 pm every day for three months, than it was finished and two months after I finished the renovation, I sold it at 175% of the purchase price. I almost doubled my money! What a great opportunity this was. The apartment was build in 1960 and nothing had been done since. I needed to replace the floors, strip the bathroom and kitchen and start from scratch. I had to redo the entree, new tiling etc.
