DAY 6

So today we had to take down all the fixtures on the side of the garden: The entire overhang, the sunshades, lights etc. And man, those sunshades were a challenge. The longest sunshade is 25ft long and was bolded down like there’s no tomorrow. It took an entire day to remove all of it. The overhang consisted of glass panels and since I don’t like to put it back, we decided to take the easy way out and just break the glass, instead of putting in so much effort to save them.

Now the garden looks like a war zone. It’s very frustrating to see all the crap all over the place but, since this is not my first rodeo, I know I have to get through this, as I know the turn around point, the moment when you are done breaking down and start building up again, is only a few weeks away…I have to get through this period although I am frustrated 😦

So please, give me some words of encouragement 🙂

Tomorrow is another big day as we are going to break down the enormous chimney.
