Day 5

Today I am removing the shutters; Not an easy task, as the screws were all rusted and rotten and thus I had to drill through the screws to remove the shutters; 24 shutters in total so another day gone 🙂

After the shutters were removed I continued with the other stuff which was hanging on the side of the house.

Tomorrow another day; I’m going to start at the back of the house. Now, this is going to be a huge task, since there is a glass overhang, 30 ft long, which has to be removed. Beside the overhang, there is a glass door which is 12 ft long, and several sunshades of which the longest is 30 ft long, imagine….for this I need help and thus I called one of my colleagues, Ron, who gladly assist me. He lives close by and over the next couple of weeks, he is going to help me, as I am over my head in work 🙂 Ron is as handy as I am and together we make a great team.
