What a busy day today, as we are taking down a bearing wall. This is the wall between the kitchen and the living room. The kitchen was so small and completely useless. I want to break down this wall to make an open kitchen to the living room. In order to do this, I had to hire a company to place to steal studs. Ultimately I will cover this beam with a wooden box where I will build in some lights. But that’s for later. For now, it’s going up and down with wheelbarrows full of stone 🙂

The studs will stay for a week, in order to let the concrete ceiling get used to the new situation. This ultimately will prevent cracks….More to follow my friends….
