The linker Oevert Marathon is a great marathon; Although not a lot of participants, maybe 200 for the full 26.2-miler, it is a very good organized event and what is surprising, that it takes you through nature, although the city of Antwerp is only a few miles away. I never realized that there was so much nature, true nature so close to the city. Definitely a race to be repeated but unfortunately, this was the last year they did this marathon, as they will be focusing on the half marathon, since that attracts much more runner…
