7-day Alaskan Explorer Cruise

We arrived at 07:00 am this morning at Canada Place, also known as the Cruise Ship terminal. After our guests disembarked, we embarked 2000 new guests and at 6:00 pm, later as scheduled because of issues with the bunker barge, we left the port of Vancouver, to pass Stanley Park, to go underneath the famous bridge into the open sea….at least for the first bit, as the ship heads towards the inside passage en route to our first port of call, Ketchikan

We were down at Canada Place this morning and noticed the that the N Amsterdam is in amazing shape. Have booked the two weeks starting July 14 and look forward to another 14 days in Alaska on HAL. We enjoy our photos and commentary. Have a great cruise this week.

Thanks Lawrence – the Alaska cruise stunning. You’re staying for two weeks which means you get to see Glacier Bay twice, you’ll get to see College Fjord and Hubbard Glacier. Great choice as all three are amazing places to visit

Hello, Burt This will be Alaska cruise 21 and 22, all on HAL. First was on the (very) old Nieuw Amsterdam. Glacier Bay is amazing – agree! Marble Island for sea lions; Gloomy Knob for mountain goats; plus the glaciers and mountains: what a great sail! We have sailed with you a few times on the S-class Statendam, mostly to Alaska, quite a few years ago. Looking forward to Alaska again as we missed it during the past two years, instead sailing a couple of cruises in NZ, Australia, South Pacific on the Noordam. Enjoy your days onboard and on your runs. Lawrence and Patricia B
