Dumb and Dumber are going for a run

From where we dock in Icy Strait Point, Alaska, we took the gondola to the top of the mountain. From there on, there is a service road behind the mountain, that leads thru a 9-mile dirt road back to the town of Hoonah, and from that point on, we follow the coast back to the ship. A great run; we haven’t done this before but

as we can’t run this road without a weapon because of the changes to see bears, we found a local ultra-runner, Bryce, who ran with us. Now….as the crew challenged me to dress up like a bear, we are still not sure who would scare who during the run; Bryce the bears, me the bears or the bears us…..I still think Bryce would win this 🙂

So i tried on the suit and it fell hot and uncomfortable….great for a 9-mile run in bear country

at this moment we don’t know who is actually scarier; Me, the bear, or Bryce – let’s put up a vote please

Anyway, this was another great run and we had a lot of fun and I ended up getting out of my outfit, as it got too hot….
